The Valley Fever Survivor Support Group (VFSSG) is here to help people with Valley Fever receive truly useful information. VFS cuts through the sea of misinformation patients find so often when reading about this disease. This is the only forum where you can get help from the experts. We spent time researching through thousands of medical journals, know the information, and can provide research-based facts for patients to bring to their doctors for consideration. You don’t need to hear repeated misinformation and guesses when your health is on the line. The information VFS provides often helps readers take critical information to their medical teams to receive the best of care in ways many doctors had not even considered. In addition, VFSSG members have the camaraderie that comes from contact with others who are going through Valley Fever as well. Family members and people with pets that have Valley Fever are also welcome to join.
In Valley Fever Survivor’s early years we had local VFS Support Groups. Since many people were too sick to attend every meeting we started our VFSSG online.
Please join our busy Valley Fever Survivor Support Group on Facebook at this link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1063806976985799 and become a member of our Valley Fever Survivor family.
All our Facebook Valley Fever Survivor Support Group members have free access to our basic eating plan. This includes research-backed information about foods to eat or avoid to help optimize the immune system and other factors. This could help you feel stronger while fighting Valley Fever. Please note, since some people are on specific medications or have other specific health conditions, not everything in that document is appropriate for everyone.
Valley Fever Survivor Public Facebook Page
We also have a public Valley Fever Survivor page on Facebook in addition to the support group. Our VFSSG is managed as a “closed group” and only members can see posts. Our public Valley Fever Survivor page on Facebook provides warnings, facts and information that will be useful to everyone with or without VF.
Valley Fever Survivor Message Board Archive
For many years we had an active Valley Fever Survivor Message Board. When Facebook became so much more prominent, VFS joined Facebook to provide greater access to even more Valley Fever people worldwide. You can view the archives of our Valley Fever Survivor Message Board and read over 11,000 posts by clicking here.
Books by the Founders of Valley Fever Survivor
For more in-depth support, you may also wish to read our book Valley Fever Epidemic. Many people who read it said it should be required reading in medical schools, for practicing physicians, for emergency room personnel, and others. Many patients buy a second copy for their doctors so they can be educated as well. This book helps protect you from falsehoods that often appear online and elsewhere. It is the first and only book of its kind. You can go to www.goldenphoenixbooks.com, Amazon.com or other retailers. You can read all about it and see what others have to say about the book at these sites as well.
Beyond our most acclaimed book, Valley Fever Epidemic, we have other books on this topic you may find useful at www.goldenphoenixbooks.com and elsewhere.
Ongoing Support
Sharon and Dave, the Founders of Valley Fever Survivor, freely participate with the support group online, in teleseminars, and other venues. They answer questions, give information, and describe major developments in Valley Fever with their decades of research and knowledge. We will keep people abreast of upcoming events. To see how others have been helped by Valley Fever Survivor, please see our page of testimonials. You can also see our Health, Healing and Wellness page to read testimonials from those we have helped through our pioneering nutrition research.
Specialty Services
All our services were designed to help you make a difference in your health and well-being to improve the quality of your life. Anyone can benefit from these empowering services whether they have Valley Fever or not. Please visit our page of Specialty Services to see the different offerings we have available.
Our support and outreach since 2002 has always been free and our availability at times has been 24/7. We created these fee-based specialty services in order to sustain our years of nonstop volunteering for the Valley Fever community and to obtain some of the necessary funding for Valley Fever publicity work. Only when the dangers of Valley Fever become common knowledge around the world will the demand for the cure be possible.
