IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your doctor(s) should always be consulted before you begin any new regimen of food, vitamin, mineral, or herbal intake. This will ensure it is safe for your particular health condition, especially in regard to whatever medications your health care provider may currently have you taking. Many supplements and herbs can be dangerous if taken in combination with specific medications. It is your responsibility to consult with your health care professionals before changing any aspect of your personal health care regime.
The use of any of these supplements, freeze-dried foods or any other product is not to be considered a replacement for medical care, and is not intended to diagnose, prevent, treat or cure any disease. Although they may be useful in specific circumstances, there is no way to know if any item or any dose will truly be helpful or harmful for any individual person without specific consultation with your personal health care provider. This would also be true, for example, with government recommendations like the My Plate program and other diets. All foods and products that you use should be checked by your personal medical care professionals that they are medically appropriate and safe for you.
Never take any supplement or new food without being certain it will not interact poorly with your specific physical condition, which may include illnesses, medicine you may be taking, allergies, or other factors. This is best determined by your physician or qualified medical professionals. Quercetin, for example, can interact with the antifungal drug fluconazole in ways your doctor must consider if you are on a prescription – for that matter, fluconazole can also interact with vinegar, colas, and other common acidic foods and beverages.
