You all provide a safe place to share and feel some semblance of normal in our daily lives. You are family to me and I suspect I’m not the only one! God bless you both on this blessed night and have a beautiful Christmas.

It is only when I had your book in hand that I finally felt strong enough to fight this nightmare. Thank you both.

Sharon Filip, thank you so much for sharing – sharing ALL you have shared! You ground me. People ask why I wear a back brace & all that goes with it – I tell them I have Valley Fever & what it has done to me & still I’m looked at like ‘that’s crazy’ but with your support I know it’s Not crazy! It is real & not just ‘in my head’. Thank you & know you are GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Thank you for all you have done. More and more people are becoming aware. Here in the Midwest (Illinois) it was basically unheard of. When we had daughter in ER with such pain in her joints she could not walk, and a rash on legs, the ER Doc was spent maybe 5 mins in room, said it was some allergic reaction, and was sending her home. Thank God for a nurse Practitioner who listened to me, and looked up VF online. She convinced the Doc to look, and he let her call an Infectious disease Doc. That one admitted her over the phone. We educated every nurse and CNA and anyone else on that floor. I was at our family doc last week, when you check in they always ask if you have traveled out of the country. They have now added “Have you traveled out of state” Thought that was interesting. Maybe the doctors are starting to listen. I hope.

I can’t believe it’s been that long since we met. You two have done so much work to bring this “war” to the forefront. Even now it’s still an unknown among most people. You’ve helped us so much and are continuing to do so. I just wish the medical community would take notice of the work you’ve done. Again, I want to say thank you and God’s blessings on your mission.
